White Sands National Monument
One of the world's greatest natural wonders, White Sands National Monument contains 275 square miles of gypsum sand dunes. Under the Antiquities act of 1906, the park became a national monument. Exploration of the park's plants and wildlife are available by vehicle, foot and private range guide.
NM Museum of Space History
New Mexico has played an integral part in the U.S. Space program. The museum contains exhibitions from space program history – from Robert Goddard's rocket experiments to recent ventures, such as the International Space Station.
War Eagle Air Museum
See a collection of restored historical aircraft of the World War II and Korean Conflict eras. The museum also boasts a unique collection of automobiles, military equipment and other special exhibits from those decades.
