Mr. Williams possesses extensive experience involving anti/counterterrorism, police operations, crime prevention, physical security, loss prevention and control, community-oriented policing, personal security operations, personnel management and administration. He has an extensive background in the conduct and management of research projects, as well as preparing studies based on factual analyses tied to interviews, records search and review, and best business practices.
Recent Professional Experience
- Security Management Analyst with Science Applications International Corporation. Serves as Project Manager and Principal Investigator on a variety of security-related projects. Mr. Williams recently completed analysis of the feasibility of establishing a court security officer division within either the Federal Judiciary or U.S. Marshals Service to replace or augment the current federal courthouse security provided by contract guards.
- Provided technical support to the National Guard Bureau study on chemical/biological Weapons of Mass Destruction. Conducted analyses of the understanding by emergency first responders (police, fire, emergency response specialists) of the nature of the terrorist threat.
- Senior Security Supervisor at Sprint International. Managed Securiguard, Incorporated, under contract to Sprint, International for site physical security. Established and managed a guard force of 32 trained personnel.
- Deputy Director, Investigative Operations Division, Headquarters, United States Army Criminal Investigation Command. Responsible for four major divisions: General Crimes, Economic Crimes (fraud, waste and abuse), Intelligence and Analysis, and Protective Services (personal protection for senior and cabinet level Department of Defense officials).
- Office of the Program Manager, Saudi Arabian National Guard, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Served as senior advisor to the security forces responsible for the personal protection of the Crown Prince and other major members of the Saudi Royal Family. Advised the Saudi National Guard on force protection and counter/anti-terrorism issues.
